Favorite foundations
I have two favorite foundations: one for everyday use and one for more festive or demanding events.
During my life I have tested very different types of foundations, from pocket friendly to exclusive ones. And today you find from my make-up bag two very different products I really appraise: Jane Iredale Glow Time BB Cream and Giorgio Armani Face Fabric. They are totally different from each other and both have very strong benefits.
Giorgio Armani Face Fabric
My everyday foundation. This product has been in my make-up bag already more than 2 years (or even more) for several reasons. First it´s the softest foundation that I have been ever used. If you take it from the tube first time you immediately feel it´s creamy softness and this feeling continues during applying process. Second reason is that it´s very light and doesn´t make the feeling of “heavy” make up on your face. For those who need perfect covering, this is not the right product (look the Jane Iredale section below), but if your skin is in good condition, this product is good to go for. And of course it lasts whole day perfectly plus it protects against sun (SPF 12)!
Jane Iredale Glow Time Full Coverage Mineral BB Cream
You probably know all good benefits that Jane Iredale Mineral Cosmetics carries, but this product is one of the best coverage foundations I have been ever used. The consistency of this foundation is firstly little bit surprising, it feels thick and gummy, very different from Giorgio Armani Face Fabric (but you will get used to it very quickly). But on the others side you need only very-very little dot of foundation to cover perfectly your whole face. And it really covers – all the redness, small imperfections, everything! This product really gives you the face you see on the cover of the magazines. For applying I suggest you to use foundation brush, which helps to blend it better.
Before applying the foundation I always use Jane Iredale primer & brigthener Smooth Affair. It smells wonderful and is perfectly suitable to use also instead your daily cream :)
