Favorite hair care routine
I like soft and shiny, healthy hair. If you are blessed with that kind of beautiful hair, it´s wonderful. But if you´re not, then take a minute and read how I take care of my thin, colored and processed hair.
Eight or nine year ago I decided to cut off my long hair as they were very thin and broken. Since that day I haven´t used any hair product that is sold at regular shop, only professional hair care products. Today I´m sharing my hair care routine with you and those products I love the most.
Step 1 / hair washing
For years I have used Davines shampoo´s – Melu, NouNou, Momo and Dede. They all are good and leave hair soft and easy to handle. For couple of months I have been using Macadamia Rejuvenating Shampoo, which is also good and leaves hair very soft, plus it´s paraben/sulfate free.
Step 2 / Conditioner
Good hair conditioner is a must for me and the end results of hair depends from it a lot. Again – I have been loyal to Davines conditioners for years and just lately started to use Macadamia conditioners. I have to say that both brands do their work well. Still, in winter time I need more moisture for my hair, so I´m using once or twice per week Deep Repair Masque from Macadamia (instead of conditioner), which leaves my hair really silky, soft and shiny.
From the picture below you can see my newest purchase – Alterna Instant Recovery Conditioner, which I haven´t tested yet but I will do it very soon. Ladies at shop said that even if it´s really pricy it´s worth every cent, and when you start to use it, you won´t swich back to other hair care products… Well, very intersting – I´ll do my own test and share it with you in the future :)
Step 3 / pampering the hair
I pamper my hair with three products:
1) Davines All In One Milk, which I spray to my hair after they have little bit dried. This product protects against heat, adds softness and silkness and controls the frizz. This has been one of my favourites long time, so definitely worth every cent! You can leave it into the hair, no need to wash it out.
2) Davines Oil, which adds moisture and has also restructuring effect to damaged hair. I use it mostly in hair ends, as they are the driest. This oil doesn´t leave your hair heavy, vice versa – it adds lightness and shine, and I love it!
3) Kevin Murphy Anti Gravity, which adds volume to hair roots and keeps the hairstyle longer.
